Not only do we advocate the worthwhile contribution to good causes through our words, articles and deeds, but a portion of the sales on Stress-Free Living.com goes to the charities listed below.

We hope that you, too, can find out 'how good it feels to give', even if it is only a few dollars, it all helps, and it all feels good. In fact, recent research proves that 'feel good' hormones are released when we offer a contribution to others -- moreso, than when we receive a gift.

Contribution is a hallmark of Stress-Free Living's mission and a principle by which we should all live. A portion of every sale will be given to worthy causes. Educational opportunities for everyone is fundamental to the success of our country and the betterment of the entire world.

For this reason, we support these opportunities to contribute to the well-being of others:

• Save the Rainforest -- 1 acre at a time through the World Land Conservation Fund.
• Save the culture and people of Tibet through the fine work of the American Himalayan Foundation.
• Provide scholarships to needy students to attend college through the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund .
• Help children learn in impoverished countries through the Adopt-A-School Program for schools in the Amazon Rainforest.
• Make the lives easier of children in the USA through the Life is good Kids Foundation (*see Life is good products section).

Help children learn such that they can save the Rainforests and the land they love before it is too late.

Donations for the Adopt-A-School program are accepted by the Detroit Zoological Society on behalf of Conservacion de la Naturaleza Amazonica del Peru (CONAPAC). One hundred percent of every donation is used by CONAPAC to purchase school supplies in Iquitos, Peru, thus supporting the local economy, reducing purchasing costs and eliminating shipping costs.

Donations are also used to fund workshops that help teachers and community leaders promote sustainable lifestyles to protect the natural resources of the Amazon rainforest. During the 2007-08 school year, Peru Adopt-A-School donations provided more than 4,200 students and teachers with educational materials and training in over 115 schools.

Stress-Free Living will be establishing a program that will allow your community and friends to adopt a school -- to join together with other of our members, visitors and customers to provide an entire year of schooling for children of the Peruvian Amazon.
